Elder Blossoms

Hello guys!

How are you all doing? It's been quite a while since my last post! The past few weeks I've found myself taking time out to really try and recalibrate my life, pinpoint my goals and set a plan in motion. In the middle of all this intense soul searching there came a moment when I realised, while it's great to plan, life is too short to be suffocated with worry, fear and self doubt. Sometimes you've just got to get your head out of the Ben and Jerry's, pat yourself on the back, shake your body, tell yourself you're fantastic and go for it!

With all that being said this little blog operation I've got going here has now moved to www.stylishwhispers.com and @stylishwhispers on Twitter! I'm also now a part of Fresh Laces, a sneaker and lifestyle events company based in London. We are currently working on our next event 'Fresh Art' an exhibition showcasing some of the UK's best Sneaker and Hip Hop influenced artists. It's opening to the public at the 5th Base Gallery in East London on August 16th & 17th and is shaping up to be pretty brilliant!

So in the spirit of shaking bodies and going for it I found myself stationed on the Reebok website determined to get myself a pair in their sale. I'd been looking for some Classics in a green colourway for a while and almost threw my laptop out of the window when I saw these for £25. I feel happy in my heart when they are on my feet and I guess that's what it's all about.

When the words sale and trainer are in the same sentence you know it's going to be a good day.

P.S: It had to be Bishop Nehru for the post title today! This track is one of my absolute favourites from him and that DOOM instrumental. Fantastic.
