it feels good to get away

Hey everyone!

I'm back from my Holiday in Dubai, and back at uni, I had a lovely time it's a beautiful place and thought I'd share a few photos and show you the few things I bought while I was there!

We stayed near the Mall of the Emirates which had so many designer stores such as Balenciaga, Christian Louboutin, Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton.  As well as these they had independent boutiques that sold amazing one of a kind pieces, all unfortunately out of my price range!

We also visited the Gold Souk a whole street of jewellers specialising in gold sold by weight,  it was really interesting seeing all the different pieces as well as being hunted down by the sellers flogging "one of a kind Mulberry and Prada bags" and "Limited Edition Rolex's" in the back streets!

We went to the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building and this was the view from the 125th floor.

We caught these taxi's everywhere around Dubai, the taxi drivers were so friendly one asked if we were Obama's cousins :')

Jumeirah beach, the most beautiful beach I've ever seen in my life and visiting there was one of the highlights of my holiday.

On to the few purchases I made while on holiday, we went to a huge place called Global Village a space with little stalls representing different countries.  There were loads of stalls and I found this in a random bag stall in "Spain" it is inspired by my DREAM bag, the Céline Boston Tote, so although it wasn't the real thing, I had to get it to tide me over until I have a spare £1,600, it cost me 320 Dhs about £60.

I also visited Forever 21 and found this grey tank for 29 Dhs (about £6) and bright yellow plastic curb necklace for the same price,  I thought the two would look good together with my Blue Skinnies and Converses.

Lastly I bought these plait bracelets from a market stall for 3 Dhs each (about 70p) I loved the colours and thought they'd be cool to add a little colour to my outfits.

Overall I loved my holiday, especially spending time with my family!  If you get the opportunity to go to Dubai, I'd really recommend it, we are already planning our next trip there!

Here was my holiday theme tune, J.Cole - Get Away:
