Sorry i've been gone, university exams are around the corner and revising has been taking up all my time! I finish on Friday though, and i cannot wait!! I'm excited to be free from academic work so i can work on the blog, Stylebony, teach myself new skills and spend time with my beautiful family.
I recently went on a little trip to Bristol with some of my uni friends, we spent about 3 days there just seeing friends and revising at night time (it never ends!) it was a great trip with lots of laughs and on the day before we left we thought we'd check out the shops. The shopping centre Cabot Circus is AMAZING it was so exciting having so many shops around especially in comparison to my little uni town (there is no H&M here?!). I thought i'd share with you the few items i got while i was there:
The flatform trend is one i'm really starting to warm to, i think for me it was about finding a style of flatform i thought suited me and these were perfect! I popped into New Look to find a pair of flatform plimsols i saw online but had no luck finding my size. I then found these contrast soled brogues in the Generation (or teen) section of New Look in a size 2, they were on sale for £11. I thought they'd be a cool shoe for Summer/Autumn, i like the colour scheme and the foam like sole, a good cheap-ish buy i think.

Next up American Apparel! I was so excited to look around as it's a store i like for certain things but never think i can practically shop from because of my body shape and of course the price. I was pleasantly surprised actually and got 3 items, the first being this neon pink nail polish to add to my growing collection.

Next is my favourite purchase from my trip, perhaps even the whole year, it's an over sized, plaid chiffon button-up shirt. It is my PERFECT top in every way and i'm looking forward to styling it if we ever get a Summer in the UK, i think it's a really versatile piece.

Lastly i got this black resin strapped Casio, I hadn't seen one like it before and liked the sporty look of it, the round face and of course the black and gold (my favourite combination) it was £20.
Mini OOTD for you! I didn't do much today went to the library, my friends house for his birthday and back to the library until around 4.30am. Here is what i wore, quite boring but i thought i'd show you how i styled the shoes.
Threw my waxed jacket over because the rain comes hard and fast nowadays, you just can't risk it! That's all for now guys, hope you are all well!
