I thought i'd share with you a few things i picked up today as they were a bit different to what i usually feature in my 'New In' posts.
Today i had my first shift at a newly opened charity shop near my house. It was a lot of work but very rewarding! I learnt how to use a till, look after stock etc i even got to practice a little visual merchandising as i dressed all the displays! I didn't realise how much work goes into these shops and i'm hoping to learn a lot while i'm there, it's nice to feel productive!
For someone like me that's always styling in my head it's like thrifting from 9am - 5pm, every piece gets put into an outfit in my head! Today i managed to get one of the things that caught my eye when i was sorting. It's a little daisy print playsuit made of a silk like material and it was in a size 16. My worry was that it would be a bit too girly for me and i wouldn't be able to fit it into my personal style, but for £2 i thought i'd accept the challenge!

I picked up a few little beauty bits today from Superdrug. I started using Sleek's Hide It Concealer in February because i was switching up my routine and wanted to focus on using less products and good technique. I first bought this at uni truthfully because it was the cheapest one i could find at £3.65 but it's been treating me so well! I now use it with a bit of Revlon Photoready Primer and cut out foundation altogether. My only gripe is that finding this is a nightmare, Sleek concessions are always stocked up with certain items and sparse in other areas, i went to 6 Superdrug's before finding this 1 hour away from my house!

Lastly a brand new experience for me! I thought i'd try out some face masks as i'm trying to improve the condition of my skin and they just looked too cool not to try! I got a deep cleansing mask and a brightening one. I used the deep cleansing one this evening and i liked it, although moving my face was a bit of an issue :'). I'll try the other out another time. Does anyone know how often you are meant to do them? Do you have any you use that i could try? Let me know below!

That was all for today! Hope you are all good!
