So yesterday i took a little trip to my local shopping centre and although funds are low i ended up doing a bit of shopping. I couldn't resist and I did what i usually do when money isn't really abundant, i took out £20 and headed to Primark. I ALWAYS only go to the Men's section but i decided (much to the delight of my parents) to actually shop in the section meant for me and i found a few gems, i thought i'd share them with you all!
First up this mirrored tropical print (is it tropical? there are leaves and flowers all over it, so i think we'll go with tropical) scuba dress i found in the sale rack for, wait for it, £5! I'm always drawn to the £5 rail but too shy to be seen delving into them, because when i look, I LOOK, i mean through every single item type look. I swallowed my pride and found this! I have NO idea why i was so drawn to it, i don't often wear print or colour, or like showing my arms, but I LOVE IT, it fits me so well and it is a thick stretchy material so it smooths over my bumps and lumps. I'll probably wear this on a night out back at uni! I will never be afraid to look stingy again!

Next up, this t-shirt, it's a black thin tee with a perforated front and sheer, key holed back and it was £7. I couldn't believe i was in Primark when i saw it, it reminds me SO much of Alexander Wang's SS12 collection, and it's black so i thought it could be very versatile. I actually think it would be amazing paired with black trousers and neon yellow sandals, but seeing as i'm not a fan of toes or heels (in the daytime) i'll leave that to the chic fashionistas and stick with my flats!

Next up this art deco (my dad called it this so i'm copying) fitted midi dress that i LOVE. It reminds me of the Alexander McQueen Optical Illusion Dress and fits me perfectly! It sits just between my ankle and knee and i think it's perfect for my pear shaped body. The print works to highlight your curves and i really like the high neck as i really feel uncomfortable with low cut tops. I'll be pairing this with my Converses & Docs, and layering it with a parka in the colder months. It was £10.

So i had finished shopping and saw this next purchase by the till. Now being a Business student i knew they were cleverly placed there to make people spend more money but i had to get them. I wanted these American Apparel socks but couldn't justify spending £8 on a sock?! I got these all for £2 and i thought they would add little pops of colour when i wear my trainers etc.

Last up, some exciting news, after about 3 years of wearing the same pair of destroyed, scratched faux pearl earrings i finally purchased a new pair. I only like the ones i've taken out but £1 for 5 means they cost me 20p so not bad at all!

And that was it! It all came to £25 which i thought was great for all i managed to get! I salute you Primark!
Sorry this post is a bit long guys, i really enjoyed doing the photography for it and thought i'd chat with y'all a bit! Thanks everyone for reading, commenting, following, it really does mean a lot to me!
