Laid Back

Wassup everyone!

How are you all? It's been a while since my last OOTD, things have been pretty hectic at home so i haven't had much time but today and yesterday have been pretty chilled! I thought i'd share my laid back outfit from yesterday.

Recently i've found when it comes to my personal style i've really been second guessing myself.  I see amazingly dressed people online, in magazines and on the streets and start to compare and sometimes feel inadequate but then i try to think, if we all dressed the same, got the same opportunities, had the same successes and relationships at the same time wouldn't it be a bit boring? It's really easy as a blogger or just as a young woman in general to compare yourself and feel that you come up short but i think it's just remembering that everyone is different and that's what makes the world interesting. You may not see the positive qualities you have but someone out there may think you're amazing!  I think i need to remember that personal style is a journey for everybody, i may not think i'm 100% there yet but i'll get there someday and that's what's exciting i guess. I'm only 20, there's still a lot more to experiment with (and buy!)

For me, it's remembering that my little blog here is a hobby meant for me to share interests, my style journey, forge out my own tiny corner of the internet and meet lovely people, not to compete or be worried to post in case someone doesn't think i dress glamorously enough.

If i'm not myself who else will be me right?!

Tee - H&M
Leggings - Primark
Nike Free Run 2's - Foot Locker

Bracelet - Mum's

Lunch Bag - Zara

Textured Longline Coat - ASOS

Casio - American Apparel

Thanks so much guys for reading and commenting on my posts! I really appreciate it! I'm off to start researching for tomorrows 'Sunday Soundtrack' and help my sister with her Where's Wally magazine (i'm more excited than her i think.)

Okay i'm off! Peace up! A town down!

  1. I've always loved your style! You've been rocking sports luxe before it was even trendy. Love this look too, all black is always a winner xx

  3. I used to be the same way, comparing my style to others, usually online, and becoming upset because I couldn't afford what they had or maybe because their style was "better" than mine. But now I just don't care, you're so right that it would be so boring if everyone were the same. With that being said, you look flawless :)
