How are you all?! So this week i was sitting at home reading blogs and it struck me that i hadn't shopped in ages (not that it's compulsory) but sometimes you just want to click 'Add To Cart' or reluctantly hand your card over to the cashier while thinking 'i don't really need this but *cue justifications*' I really tried to challenge myself with these purchases and buy things i don't currently have or usually wouldn't buy.
I popped into River Island to have a look at the sale bits and upon leaving saw these hanging up and literally sprinted to them. I managed to grab the only size 3's in store and i've added two sets of insoles to get them to fit.

I've been on the hunt for a flat shoe (that isn't a trainer) for a while and had finally decided to start saving for some Russell and Bromley loafers but i was bowled over by the chunky heel, tassel's and sturdiness of these River Island offerings. Although i haven't really ventured into patent shoes for a while after 30 minutes of talking to myself and pacing up and down the store i decided to challenge myself (and my account) and get them!
The second find are these Nike Metro running trainers, i was just browsing the kids section of Sports Direct as usual and saw that these were back in stock and had 30% off and decided to add them to my mini collection. They are my first ever pair of red shoes so like my loafers a new challenge to style!

And lastly a H&M sale find! I'm loving the holographic/metallic pieces i'm seeing around and stumbled across this A-line, knee length, textured skirt. It's more of a gunmetal colour than the photo suggests and i'm thinking of pairing it with leotards or under jumpers for a little detail, i'll experiment and do an OOTD!

That's been it for my new finds! I'm off to trawl through my dad's 3,500 tune strong music library, two-step and watch The Food Network!
